Foros 2026: Career paths in contemporary architecture | “Local Architecture”

The final session of the Foros 2026 series will take place on 29 April, dedicated to local architecture. Architects from BxD Arquitectura and Agora Arquitectura will participate, sharing their experience in consolidating studios whose practice is rooted in the local context.

The session will address topics such as participation in public competitions, collective housing and strategies for building an architectural identity connected to the urban and cultural environment.

The Foros 2026 series brings together architects who share their professional journeys with students and present the different ways architecture is practised today.

Through this programme, the UIC Barcelona School of Architecture connects students with the professional world and promotes dialogue between academic training and real practice.
