Anual Alumni Meeting Humanities | Guided tour of the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion
Alumni UIC Barcelona and the Faculty of Humanities organize the Anual Alumni Meeting of Humanities with a guided tour of the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion.
The Barcelona Mies van der Rohe Pavilion was conceived as a representative space for the 1929 International Exposition and today stands as one of the most influential works of modern architecture.
Designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich, the building stands out for its balance of noble materials such as marble, travertine, and glass, as well as for the purity of its lines and the fluidity of its spaces, making it a universal reference for innovation and architectural elegance.
The activity is completely free for former students of the faculty, as it is finances by the Alumni department.
At the end of the visit, there will be a networking session to connect with other Faculty alumni, accompanied by a drink.
Limited capacity.
