Five-yearly dinner of Faculty of Law Alumni members
Around thirty year of 1982 and 1987 Alumni members met on our Barcelona campus on 23 March for the five yearly dinner which the Alumni group organises for all graduates who are celebrating five, ten, fifteen, twenty five, thirty or thirty five years since their graduation.
At the dinner, which the Dean of the Faculty of Law, María Fernández Arrojo, also attended, Alumni members were able to share their experiences, memories and personal anecdotes.
It was also a good opportunity to explain how the university has grown over the past few years, in terms of numbers of students, bachelor’s degree programmes, projects, and research etc. Among other things, they talked about setting up a fund in order to be able to provide Alumni Grants in five years’ time (on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of UIC Barcelona) aimed at students who do not have financial resources. This fund has become possible due to Alumni donations.
There was also discussion of the Alumni Awards and the importance and advantages of forming part of the Alumni group.
