Medellín hosts the first UIC Barcelona Alumni meeting in Colombia

On 3 October, the city of Medellin hosted the first UIC Barcelona Alumni meeting in Colombia.

The event brought together former master's and postgraduate students from different classes: Rafael R. Mendoza, María Camila Garcés, Natalia Barbosa and Maria José Jiménez.

The meeting was led by Raquel Peula, director of Promotion and Admissions at UIC Barcelona, alongside her team, programme advisors Ana Ruvalcaba and Victoria Bravo.

During the evening, they shared details about their respective career paths and initiatives for strengthening the UIC Barcelona Alumni network in Colombia and talked about the need to boost the UIC Colombia Alumni chapter, with Medellín and Bogotá as key cities.

The meeting also served to present the proposal to cooperate with UIC Barcelona as Alumni Programme Ambassadors, an initiative which turns former students into ambassadors for their degrees, helping future students through guidance and support.
