Students of Medicine take part in a session on medical specialties organised by Alumni UIC Barcelona

The Alumni UIC Barcelona Careers Service, in cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, held the fourth edition of its information session on medical specialties, intended for students in the final years of the Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine.

The event was organised into various thematic roundtables, in which alums from a range of specialties shared their career paths and clinical experience with more than forty undergraduate students. This format allowed students to gain first-hand insight into the day-to-day reality of different medical fields, ask questions and reflect on their interests as they consider their future career options.

Fifteen Universitat Internacional de Catalunya alums took part in the session, which was supported by the Alumni coordinator for Medicine, Simona Castejón.
