The Dentistry Class of 2005 celebrates its 20th anniversary on the Sant Cugat Campus

On Saturday 4 October, UIC Barcelona’s Dentistry Class of 2005 came together to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their graduation.

The event, organised by UIC Barcelona Alumni, was held on the Sant Cugat Campus and drew more than 40 former students and teaching staff, who shared memories, professional experiences and the spirit of community that continues to unite them.

The dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr Giner, along with members of the Faculty Board, accompanied the alums over the course of the day. Speakers included Jordi Ortega, an alumnus from this graduating class, who offered a few words of gratitude and reflection, and Víctor Gil, coordinator of Dentistry alumni, who presented current initiatives aimed at strengthening the Alumni Community.

After the gathering, attendees were treated to refreshments and the chance to mingle with other participants. They also had the opportunity to take a guided tour of the Faculty’s facilities, which gave them a first-hand look at the technological and academic advancements implemented in recent years.

The event was held as part of the Updates in Dentistry Conference and highlighted the importance of continuing to share experiences and lessons learned beyond the university stage.
