On 3 October, the UIC Dentistry class of 2006 reunited to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their graduation.
Organised by Alumni UIC Barcelona, with the support of fellow alumni Anaïs Ramírez and Barbara Pàmies, the gathering took place at the Sant Cugat Campus as part of the Jornada de Actualización en Odontología (JAO), an annual event held at UIC.
More than 60 alumni and professors attended the celebration, sharing memories, professional experiences and the opportunity to reconnect with former classmates after two decades.
The institutional welcome was delivered by Dr Sandra Fernández, associate dean for institutional affairs at the Faculty of Dentistry. Víctor Gil, Alumni coordinator for the Faculty, and Frederic Van Dyck, director of Alumni, also addressed the attendees.
The gathering was attended by professors Andreu Puigdollers and Mitchel Chávez, as well as alumna Sonia Picón, who shared memories and reflections on her time at university.
The celebration concluded with a cocktail reception and networking, followed by a tour of the Sant Cugat Campus facilities.
