The Growing Together professional guidance programme enters its third edition

UIC Alumni is launching a new call for applications for Growing Together, a programme that connects former students at different stages of their careers to share experiences, provide professional advice and foster mutual learning

Following the success of the first two editions, Alumni UIC Barcelona is launching a new edition of Growing Together, a professional guidance programme that promotes the exchange of knowledge and experiences among different generations of graduates.

Growing Together offers advisees – graduates who completed their studies within the last five years and students currently pursuing a master’s degree – the opportunity to receive personalised guidance to help them navigate their careers, define their professional goals and tackle new career challenges.

In turn, advisors – alums with more than five years of professional experience – will share their knowledge and insights while gaining new perspectives through the exchange.

How does the programme work?

The third edition of Growing Together will run from January to May 2027. During this period, each advisee will receive guidance from an advisor with whom they can discuss their professional concerns and goals.

For the first time, this edition also offers an online option, making it easier for graduates to take part regardless of location or availability.

The programme will also include training sessions and regular meetings for both advisees and advisors, designed to help participants make the most of the experience and support them in delivering effective professional guidance.

The sessions will be led by César Fernández, a mentoring expert and executive coach, together with the Alumni UIC Barcelona Career Services team.

Participation in the programme is free of charge and restricted to graduates of Universitat Internacional de Catalunya.
