The INEDE Classes of 1996 reunite at UIC Barcelona 30 years after graduation

Former students from the Law, Computer Science, Economics and Business Administration degree programmes who graduated from UIC Barcelona in 1996 came together on 10 June to celebrate the bond that continues to unite them three decades after completing their studies.

During the reunion, the alums shared recollections of their time at the University, looked back at their professional journeys and discussed the personal and career milestones that have shaped their lives since graduation.

The event was attended by David Tanganelli, vice-dean of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, and Frederic Van Dyck, director of Alumni UIC Barcelona. Both reflected on how both the Faculty and University have changed over the past three decades and encouraged attendees to remain connected to UIC Barcelona and continue to contribute to the growth of the Alumni community.

The reunion concluded with remarks by Elena Villa, a Law alum, and Carlos Rey, an Economics alum, who shared personal insights into the experiences that have marked their lives since graduation and highlighted the value of the diverse paths pursued by members of their class.

The gathering also provided an opportunity to strengthen ties among former classmates and recognise the enduring impact that their university experience continues to have on their personal and professional lives.
