My time at university taught me not only the technical aspects of psychology, but also the importance of working with people, recognising their life stories, and their suffering.
Looking back, I have learned a lot from both the more technical aspect of psychology and the fact that, after all, we work with people. The person who comes to our consultation with certain symptoms or a complex situation brings a life history and suffering with them that we must treat. Our job is to try to offer the necessary tools to reduce this suffering and help them recover their working, academic and social life.
Once I finished my studies in June and started preparing for the PIR the following month, I maintained contact with some teachers at the University who took an interest in how I was motivating and preparing myself. I appreciate this interest and support.
