Studying Journalism at UIC Barcelona, and later Criminology, opened the doors to an essential world for me: that of contacts and work placements.
I think the extraordinarily well-prepared teaching staff is the differentiating factor between UIC Barcelona and other universities.
I still keep my group of friends from the University and, although now that I live in New York we do not see each other as much as I would like, every time I come to Spain they all make a big effort so that we can meet, which I am very grateful for.
This connection is important to me, because with them I shared the best years of my life and, after all, there is a common denominator among us all: our love for journalism. In addition, I believe that being a journalist is a way of living and understanding life, sometimes with long and unpredictable working hours, that we share and in which we can support each other.
