I studied at what was then INEDE, the foundation of what we now know as UIC Barcelona. It was exciting to know that we were part of a really different project, something new with a vocation to serve society.

At that time, the classes were taught on a sixth floor of number 30 on Travessera de Gràcia. The most special part was the shared feeling between students, teachers and service personnel: we were building a different project, with the firm desire to generate a positive impact on society. Over time, UIC Barcelona has become a consolidated and unique university.

In a very simple environment, we were lucky to have top-class teachers, who combined teaching with professional practice. Despite their workload, we had a close relationship and they always demanded the most from us, with the clear objective that we acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to offer an excellent and professional service to society.
